Early marriage for young women has negative consequences for their reproductive health and social welfare. Women who marry at a young age face a higher risk of pregnancy complications and premature childbirth. Furthermore, early marriage hinders girls' education and their opportunities to achieve economic independence, negatively impacting their personal and social development. In this context, comprehensive efforts are needed to prevent early marriages and protect the health and well-being of women. These efforts may involve inclusive sex education, raising public awareness, providing social support for at-risk girls, and strengthening regulations that prohibit underage marriages. In taking these steps, it is hoped that the rate of early marriages can be reduced, opening up opportunities for young women to grow and thrive in a healthy manner and attain their full potential in life.
Nabila Siti Nurhasanah, Mirna Nur Alia Abdullah Copyright (c) 2025 Nabila Siti Nurhasanah, Mirna Nur Alia Abdullah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sabana/article/view/3403 Sun, 20 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000 ANALISIS EKSPLANATIF PREVALENSI BUNUH DIRI IMPLIKASI STRES AKADEMIK TERHADAP PENGARUH SOSIAL MAHASISWA DI KOTA MALANG https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sabana/article/view/3407
Stress due to academic problems is often a big challenge, especially for students. Females are more often victims of verbal violence, while males are more often perpetrators of physical violence. Low socioeconomic status also increases vulnerability to the negative effects of bullying. Individual characteristics such as stress levels, depression, and anxiety, as well as lack of social support and weak stress-coping abilities, are associated with an increased risk of mortality in students. The method used is the historical method which includes heuristics (collecting sources), source criticism (data validation), data interpretation, and historiography (writing historical narratives), with the approach of Karl Marx's historical materialism theory. The results of the study show that the implementation of liberal economics in 1870 triggered the formation of a new social class that was different from the traditional aristocracy. The Javanese bourgeois class emerged from the lower priyayi class, such as village heads, high nobles, and traders who transformed into entrepreneurs. Although showing economic behavior similar to the European bourgeoisie, the Javanese bourgeoisie maintained its local identity. This article aims to analyze the factors that trigger the emergence of cultism toward religious leaders through a sociological approach and to explain its influence on modern social life. The method used is a literature review of various scholarly sources, including academic journals and research articles relevant to the theme of cultism in society. The study's findings indicate that cultism arises as a response to socio-economic instability experienced by communities, where the presence of charismatic figures is seen as a beacon of hope for prosperity and liberation from hardship. Society tends to seek authoritative figures who offer certainty in social life. Additionally, the influence of media, feudalistic social structures, and power relations between religious figures and their followers further reinforce this phenomenon. Cultural modernism and the shift toward more moderate religious values do not automatically eliminate cult practices; rather, they transform them into more symbolic and concealed forms. This study recommends the importance of critical religious literacy and the strengthening of social rationality to prevent distortions in the relationship between religious leaders and society.
Leo Farid Ruhiana, Mirna Nur Alia Abdullah, Muhammad Retsa Rizaldi Mujayapura Copyright (c) 2025 Leo Farid Ruhiana, Mirna Nur Alia Abdullah, Muhammad Retsa Rizaldi Mujayapura https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sabana/article/view/5016 Sun, 20 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000 IMPLEMENTASI HIDDEN CURRICULUM PADA KEGIATAN LATIHAN DASAR KEPEMIMPINAN SISWA (LDKS) DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sabana/article/view/5035
This study aims to analyze the implementation of hidden curriculum in Basic Student Leadership Training (LDKS) activities in Senior High Schools (SMA). Hidden curriculum refers to learning that is not listed in the formal curriculum, but plays an important role in the formation of students' character and values, such as attitudes, behaviors, and norms. This study uses a qualitative approach with Husserl's phenomenological theory to understand the participants' experiences and perspectives related to the implementation of the hidden curriculum. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, facilitators, and students involved in LDKS activities. The results show that the implementation of the hidden curriculum in LDKS is still inconsistent, with differences in understanding of this concept among facilitators and teachers. In addition, the lack of evaluation of the effectiveness of the hidden curriculum and the existence of conflicts between the formal curriculum and the hidden curriculum are obstacles in achieving the goal of optimal character education. The findings also show that the involvement of all parties, including parents and the community, is minimal in this process. Therefore, this study suggests the need to increase understanding of the hidden curriculum, develop a more structured evaluation system, align the formal curriculum and the hidden curriculum, and increase the involvement of all parties to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of the hidden curriculum in LDKS activities in high schools.
Teresiany Wulan Gultom Copyright (c) 2025 Teresiany Wulan Gultom https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sabana/article/view/5035 Sun, 20 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000 MENCARI JATI DIRI : PERAN PEER GROUP DALAM MEMBENTUK IDENTITAS REMAJA https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sabana/article/view/4999
This study discusses the process of identity search in adolescents and peer group factors that influence adolescent identity. Adolescence is a period of significant change in an individual's life, where they try to find self-identity and determine the direction of their life goals. The formation of adolescent identity is influenced by various factors, including interactions with peers (peer groups). Peers can play an important role in shaping the character and identity of adolescents through social interactions and emotional support. The purpose of this study is to identify the role of peer groups as a factor shaping identity in adolescents. The author used the study method review to describe the role of peer groups as a factor shaping identity in adolescents. The results showed that peers have a significant role in the formation of adolescent identity, with positive and negative impacts that can affect various aspects of adolescent life, including style of dress, behaviour, academic achievement, and psychological well-being. Thus, it can be concluded that peers have a very significant role in the formation of adolescent identity, with both positive and negative impacts that can affect various aspects of adolescent life. Therefore, it is important to understand the role of peers in adolescent identity formation and consider its implications in the context of adolescent education and development.
Juwita Salwa Leswidyanti, Mirna Nur Alia Abdullah, Muhammad Retsa Rizaldi Mujayapura Copyright (c) 2025 Juwita Salwa Leswidyanti, Mirna Nur Alia Abdullah, Muhammad Retsa Rizaldi Mujayapura https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sabana/article/view/4999 Sun, 20 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000
