Sikumana Health Center, Kupang City, recorded the highest TB cases with 140 cases in 2023, indicating that the control program has not been fully effective. This study aimed to describe the planning of the TB control program at the health center in 2023. A qualitative approach was used through in-depth interviews and documentation, involving four informants. Data were analyzed through collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings show that human resources in the TB clinic are still limited, causing service gaps when the person in charge is absent. Facilities and infrastructure are adequate, and the planning stages—preparation, situation analysis, problem formulation, and drafting of RUK and RPK—have been carried out properly. However, challenges such as wide service coverage and community stigma that TB is hereditary may hinder treatment. The output consists of RUK and RPK documents, and the health center needs to strengthen education and counseling to improve public knowledge about TB.
2025-10-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Maria Vivianty Djawa, Serlie K.A. This research is a qualitative research that produces descriptive data in the form of descriptions and written or spoken words from information and observedbehavior. The selection of informants in this study was carried out using purposive sampling method. The results showed that the Input variable showed that there were 5 health workers involved in the ARI program, facilities and infrastructure supporting ARI in the Puskesmas Sikumana working area were less equipped with ventilator facilities but there was routine maintenance and care. In the process variable, the preparation of the program plan is carried out by the planning team at the Puskesmas every year. There is also a way to determine the status of people with ARI. In addition, there is monitoring of the ARI prevention program which is carried out every 3 months and there is mandatory recording and reporting every month and every year. The Output variable shows that there are strategies so that the program is right on target. In the implementation of the program, there are factors that influence. To improve the human resources of health workers at the Puskesmas, special training is always held to improve the human resources of health workers. Objective: This study aims to analyze the level of compliance with the use of PPE in cleaning service workers and identify the factors that affect it. Methods: This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and direct observation of 15 cleaning service workers working at an outsourcing company in the office sector in North Kolaka Regency in January – March 2025. The data analysis technique is carried out thematically through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. Results: Results show that the majority of workers understand the importance of PPE and show a fairly high level of compliance. The main driving factors are awareness of personal safety and supervisory supervision, while inhibiting factors include PPE inconvenience, limited tools and lack of supervision. The most commonly used types of PPE are masks, gloves and safety shoes. Conclusion: Adherence to PPE use is influenced by individual, organizational and environmental factors. The company's active role is needed in providing appropriate PPE, supervising and forming a safety-oriented work culture. This research contributes to strengthening K3 policies in the informal sector.
2025-10-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Amilah Eka Putri, Nurul Pratiwi Army, Rifka Haristantia, Nur Azizah Azzahra, Andi Ferina Herbourina Bonita https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sehatmas/article/view/6089 Faktor- Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Temindung Kota Samarinda 2025-09-13T08:17:26+00:00 Desy Hajizah desyhajizah126@gmail.com Irfansyah Baharuddin Pakki irfanchango@gmail.com Ayudhia Rachmawati irfanchango@gmail.com Siswanto Siswanto irfanchango@gmail.com Muh Amri Arfandi irfanchango@gmail.com
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major public health concern, particularly in tropical regions such as Indonesia, where it has persisted for over five decades. One of the primary health centers consistently ranking among the top three with the highest DHF cases in Samarinda from 2021 to 2023 is Temindung Public Health Center. Environmental conditions and community behavior are believed to play significant roles in the transmission of this disease. This study aimed to identify factors associated with DHF incidence, including the condition of water storage containers (TPA), lighting, the presence of mosquito larvae, and Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) behavior. A cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach was used, involving 138 respondents selected through purposive sampling within the working area of Temindung Public Health Center. Data were collected using questionnaires, direct observation, and lighting measurements, and analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results showed significant associations between the availability of TPA covers (p = 0.037), household lighting (p = 0.017), PSN behavior (p = 0.000), and the presence of mosquito larvae (p = 0.000) with DHF incidence. These factors are interrelated in increasing the risk of DHF transmission in residential areas. Proper management of water storage, adequate household lighting, mosquito larvae control, and improved PSN behavior are crucial in reducing DHF cases. This study presents a structured literature review (systematic review) following PRISMA guidelines to evaluate the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS education models in Youth Integrated Health Posts (Posyandu Remaja) from 2015 to 2025. Searches in Google Scholar identified four primary studies meeting inclusion criteria: two quantitative pre-post interventions with cadres and youth, one qualitative study, and one community service project. Findings indicate that interventions employing lectures, group discussions, informational leaflets, educational videos, and peer education enhanced adolescent knowledge scores by an average of 75 % and reduced the proportion of low-knowledge participants from 84% to zero after a brief session. Participatory approaches and collaboration with religious leaders and community institutions were key facilitators. Nevertheless, social stigma, limited cadre capacity, short program duration, and insufficient counseling facilities undermined long-term impact on actual behavior change, such as HIV testing uptake and consistent condom use. Consequently, this review recommends developing a comprehensive education module encompassing reproductive rights, sexual orientation diversity, the U = U concept, and psychosocial support; advanced cadre training; cross-sector integration; and digital technology utilization to ensure program sustainability and effectiveness.
2025-10-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Andina Vita Sutanto, Zubaida Rohmawati, Edwin Daru Anggara https://journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sehatmas/article/view/6174 Analisis Kebutuhan SDM Petugas Rekam Medis di Rumah Sakit Mekar Sari Bekasi Menggunakan Metode ABK-Kes 2025-08-28T09:38:08+00:00 Fani Nur Azizah faninurazizah14@gmail.com Puteri Fannya puteri.fannya@esaunggul.ac.id Laela Indawati laela.indawati@esaunggul.ac.id Bangga Agung Satrya bangga.agung@esaunggul.ac.id
Human resource planning is essential to ensure the availability of a workforce that meets current and future service needs. The research subjects consist of four adult smokers selected purposively. Data collection techniques involved semi-structured interviews and observations, while data analysis used triangulation methods. The results indicate two differing perspectives regarding smoking: some subjects emphasized the negative impacts such as disease risk, physical fatigue, and financial losses that motivated their intention to quit, whereas others continued smoking for reasons of relaxation, stress reduction, and social interaction. The social environment was shown to play a dual role, both weakening and strengthening the motivation to quit depending on the prevailing norms.
