SIMULASI DAN PERBANDINGAN KINERJA OSPF (OPEN SHORTEST PATH FIRST) DAN EIGRP (ENHANCED INTERIOR GATEWAY ROUTING PROTOCOL) MENGGUNAKAN CISCO PACKET TRACER (STUDI KASUS : SMK NEGERI 8 PALEMBANG)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan kinerja protokol routing dinamis OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) dan EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) dalam pengelolaan jaringan komputer, menggunakan simulasi Cisco Packet Tracer pada studi kasus jaringan SMK Negeri 8 Palembang. Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan parameter utama seperti convergence time, throughput, dan delay. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa OSPF lebih stabil pada jaringan skala besar dengan banyak node, sementara EIGRP unggul di lingkungan dengan kebutuhan bandwidth rendah. Dengan demikian, pemilihan protokol routing perlu disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan spesifik jaringan.
