IMPLEMENTASI INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM (ITS) DI KOTA PADANG, SUMATERA BARAT

Peningkatan aktivitas transportasi di Kota Padang yang diikuti pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan menimbulkan tantangan dalam pengelolaan lalu lintas, sehingga diperlukan sistem transportasi yang lebih efektif, efisien, dan berkelanjutan. ITS merupakan solusi manajemen transportasi menggunakan teknologi intelijen untuk integrasi antar jaringan jalan, moda sistem transportasi, dan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi implementasi ITS di Kota Padang serta menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dan implementasi ITS terhadap manfaat ekonomi dan dampak lingkungan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif cross-sectional dan dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan ITS berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap manfaat ekonomi dan dampak lingkungan, sedangkan implementasi ITS berpengaruh negatif namun signifikan, sehingga diperlukan peningkatan efektivitas implementasi dan pemanfaatan ITS. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan manfaat ITS tidak hanya bergantung pada penyediaan teknologi, tetapi juga pada efektivitas implementasi, integrasi sistem, kualitas layanan, dan integrasi sistem transportasi.
